A couple years ago, my friends at U.S. Money Reserve asked if I’d like to hand-deliver 5 oz. silver coins to surviving members of the Greatest Generation—100-year-old WWII veterans. An absolute privilege to present.
In fact, I even visited the mint in Germany, where those coins were struck, and got a full tour from my friend Oscar—watching raw silver transformed into a work of art. While there, it hit me: a coin series would be a great way to honor America’s tradespeople.
